[Ariel's closet is getting ridiculously full. With every piece of clothing that got dirty, she got a new one rather than washing it, because the washing machine was a mystery that she couldn't figure out and didn't really want to figure out. But forty dresses and other such things in her closet? This is a little too much.

So, Ariel's in the back of the kitchen where the washer and dryer are, and she's got a frown and a squint on her face as she leans to try to figure this out. The clothes go in... here, right? Right. That's the only place they can go. And then... This detergent stuff goes in with them. How much goes in...?

Surely, the more that goes in, the cleaner it'll be, right?

...

Well.

Twenty minutes later, the entire first floor and even the bottom of the stairs of Community Housing 4 is absolutely covered with soap suds. Ariel's by the entrance of the kitchen, on her knees and trying desperately to get the bubbles back into the kitchen. It's... mostly a futile effort, so she holds her hair with both hands, unaware that she just got bubbles in it, and then she slides across the suds to get to her journal on the counter.

The image shows her looking off to the side awkwardly, before she smiles widely and writes. She's... trying to be innocent, like she did nothing wrong, but... ahaha...]

~~Does~~ ~~How~~ Could someone tell me how the clothing cleaner works? Is that what it's called?

And [...] how to clean up a lot of [...] bubbles?

[Ariel gives a nod, then looks around, trying to see if there's anything they can clean with. Rags... rags? How exactly does one clean bubbles? This wasn't a problem under the sea...]

Do you know any cleaning games? I'd race my sisters sometimes back home! [Outside of their dad's line of sight, anyway.]

[... Ariel feels like she should know, since she's "human". So she presses her lips together, glances away, and shakes her head. Nnno. She doesn't. Sorry.]

Ariel presses a hand over her mouth to try to hold back her smile, and then she shakes her head and carefully moves forward to reach for both his hands, intent on helping him up. This sure is a turnabout situation, though Ariel's only doing better here because she's had some time to get used to it. Just give her a few minutes and she'll be on the floor, too.]

Mine is! Mine has a tufty short stub of a tail! His name is Hector.

I am certain if you ask, they will show. As for cleaning games...For the most part my sisters and I would designate certain areas that needed cleaning, and whoever finished first won. That might work here.

[... Oh, wait. After a few seconds' pause:]

After I get this place cleaned??

[Or maybe not...? Oooh it'd be nice to ignore this and go right over and see this kitten for herself. But then she'd be leaving it for other people...]

That's fairly forward, isn't it? Asking to see the kitten of a man you've barely even met?

[He's grateful for the hand (or two), despite the face he's making. Ariel, it's like being on really wet iiiiiiice. Also, his backside is sore and soggy.

He also tries his damnedest not pull too quickly while inching back on his feet, or she might go sliding off] Thank you, Ariel-chan.

There's an awful lot, so it's not like we can just...sweep them out the door, huh? I wonder if we could melt them with water or a super wet rag or something?

[She looks back to Ariel to see what she thinks about the idea.]

[Sigh. She hitches her bag up her shoulder.]

How about I show you then? But you gotta help me clean up this mess, okay?

[Ginji just smiles back - he's kind of at a loss on what to say. It's not his place to get mad, but this mess should probably be cleaned up as soon as possible, huh?]

Haha... This is the first time I've seen anything quite like this happen before. Do you mind if I take a look at it? [Ginji gestures towards the washing machine, and is already on his way to check things out.]

Turning it off would probably be a good place to start.

[The weather outside is frightful, but the floor is not delightful...

...which is basically what Rise thinks about the current situation at hand. She's taken a while longer to slog through the flood of suds since she has to put her bag somewhere dry first but it doesn't take her long. In fact, she'll just enter the kitchen when Ginji comments about turning it off.

Oh! Company.]

[By the time Pilouette looks at her, Ariel's already scooted across the slick floor to look into a few drawers. In the third drawer, she brightens up when she finds several rags, and she pulls them all out. They're going to need as much as they can get at this point.]

That could work! [And judging by the big smile on her face, she's excited to try it out. But also:]

You have sisters, too?

Is it forward? [What is he talking about, this is totally how one makes friends.]

Six older sisters, yes.

[And indeed, it's a lot harder to keep her balance now that she's pulling on someone. Her feet slide a little, and her eyes widen before she maneuvers to a better, more stable position. Right, there. There we go.

Once she finishes slowly getting Sanji on his feet, she nods, and she slooowly steps back towards the mop and bucket while keeping a hold on his hands. Maybe this way he won't fall over, or if he does, she can try to pull him back up before he hits the floor.]

[Extra help, then? Ariel gives a sheepish wave to Rise, knowing that the girl is still a little irritated, before she smiles at Ginji. He seems a tad cooler about this, and it's nice to get instructions right off.

She looks at the washing machine, back at Ginji, then to the machine again, where she moves forward and turns the knob enough to shut the machine off. She wasn't sure if that was the right thing to do or not, but since the noises stopped and the suds aren't coming out as fast, it... seems it was!

Yay!]

[With her lips still together, she nods, but still tries to smile. Ooooooh she's made people mad, she knows it. She'll just. Twist her hair in her fingers as she glances off towards the washing machine. Jeez, she knew this thing was hard to figure out, but...]

Horrible bad manners, it is! Are you a pirate?

Oh! Hey, great, just what we needed! Let me see if I can find a bucket we can use for water...

[As she starts to snoop around the kitchen, she smiles a little.]

If we really get to it, I bet we'll be able to get this cleaned up in no time!

[He may or may not be trying to keep an eye on her from his journal perspective, not that it does any good. Flat range and all. It looks like she managed though, when she gets back into the frame. Aha, and there are the words.]

Got it in one.

Once you have a wet, you can take it out and use it to pick up the bubbles. You'll have to dip it back into the bucket sometimes, but that's how you do it.

[Miyabi follows that finger and spots the machine, and promptly begins to laugh. Oh, she can recall her own adventures with technology very clearly (cooking chocolate is...not easy, she's learned). She waves her hand, mutters an apology, and shakes her head. Ah, she knows. She knows exactly how this went.]

You filled it too much, didn't you? [Another giggle.] This is why I prefer to wash everything by hand! Ah, but let me help you clean it up! I've never done this before so it, uhm...m-might not work...but it's worth a try!

...You might want to step back. [She's reaching for her sword.]
